How to paint black fur in watercolour with exciting result

Hi, there! What a wonderful start of a day to warm up by painting an animal fur. I adore to paint animals and each time I pick up my brush I want something new, fresh and exciting. Even if the animal is black fur!

I have not a problem to paint with my vibrant watercolors a black without a black pigments. This is @luiginacaporello Drago pet portrait and an excellent example of black fur animal.

And this is an excellent example how to deal with November rainy days also. The only thing is… Electricity lighting as you can see on a photo…

The next day a rain too. But I don’t care. I have this wonderful excitement inside which I hold while days I’m going to develop my painting!

I wish my adventure covered more rainy days as painting this Drago dog portrait is true joy. But exciting result come on second layer already. I don’t need anything to add into it.
